Slypork brings together the work of Lachie Mears, a producer, mastering engineer,
plugin developer and technologist based in Ĺhinehou.
A born and bred lover of music, Lachie has spent the past decade learning how to work with digital audio. Along the way that's meant making music as Keith and Root Basis, and several years mastering a wide range of music from the Aotearoa underground.
Alongside the music came a bachelor's degree in Computer Science & Psychology, followed by a few years building quality of life and accessibility apps, with a focus on frontend and UX.
Audio plugins are where those two paths meet, and they're the main focus right now. The first is KerBy, a kick and bass instrument built for playing.
